You will drive ISO certification readiness, implement corrective actions, and develop a multi-year roadmap to transition quality ownership to partners, while collaborating with Operations, Engineering, and Supply Chain.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Operations, or related field.
• 5+ years in Quality Management, Supplier Quality, Manufacturing Quality, or related disciplines.
• Experience implementing and managing ISO-compliant quality systems.
• Proven 8D investigations leadership and driving corrective actions.
• Experience managing customer audits and executive-level quality reviews.
• Strong project management with ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and drive change.
• Experience leading continuous improvement via Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.

Responsabilidades

Schneider Electric is seeking a dedicated and proactive Quality Manager to join our Global Supply Chain team in Cd. Juarez, Mexico.

The Quality Manager will lead all quality-related activities across strategic third-party contract manufacturing partners, ensuring compliance with customer, regulatory, and company quality requirements. This role is responsible for driving ISO certification readiness, establishing a robust corrective action and continuous improvement culture, preparing sites for customer audits, and developing a multi-year roadmap to transition quality system ownership to the contract manufacturing partner.

Main responsibilities

Quality Systems & ISO Certification

• Lead the development, implementation, and certification of ISO-compliant Quality Management Systems (QMS) at third-party manufacturing facilities.
• Ensure quality systems align with customer, regulatory, and corporate requirements.
• Drive standardization of quality processes, documentation, procedures, and performance metrics across contract manufacturing partners

Contract Manufacturer Quality Integration

• Develop and execute a comprehensive quality integration roadmap enabling third-party manufacturers to assume full ownership of quality processes within two years.
• Establish governance structures, operating rhythms, KPIs, escalation processes, and accountability mechanisms.
• Build strong partnerships with contract manufacturers to ensure long-term sustainability of quality systems.
• Monitor quality performance and implement proactive risk mitigation strategies.

Corrective Action & Continuous Improvement

• Lead root cause investigations utilizing 8D, DMAIC, and other structured problem-solving methodologies.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement focused on defect reduction, process capability improvements, and customer satisfaction.
• Facilitate Kaizen events and Lean Six Sigma initiatives to improve quality, cost, delivery, and operational performance.

Quality Performance Management

• Establish and track key quality performance indicators including: Customer complaints, COPQ (Cost of Poor Quality, First Pass Yield, Defect rates, Supplier Quality Metrics, Audit Findings, and Corrective Action Effectiveness).
• Lead periodic business reviews with contract manufacturers focused on quality performance and improvement initiatives.

Cross Functional Leadership

• Collaborate with Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain, Customer Quality, and Program Management teams.
• Support new product introductions and process transfers into contract manufacturing facilities.
• Provide coaching and mentoring on quality methodologies

Qualifications and experiences

• Education Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Operations, or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in Quality Management, Supplier Quality, Manufacturing Quality, or related disciplines.
• Demonstrated experience implementing and managing ISO-compliant quality systems.
• Proven experience leading 8D investigations and driving sustainable corrective actions.
• Experience managing customer audits and executive-level quality reviews.
• Strong project management experience with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and drive organizational change.
• Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean, Six Sigma, or equivalent methodologies.
