Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineering leader in Torreón, Mexico. You will oversee a technical staff to design, implement, and improve manufacturing processes for growth, and coordinate capital projects and CI initiatives.

Responsibilities include tooling, process development, ABC costing, and ensuring PQVC health while maintaining safety and quality standards in a dynamic plant environment.

Qualifications

• University degree required in an appropriate manufacturing or engineering related field.
• At least five years in manufacturing related fields experience, requires knowledge of Lean, Takt Time, DMAIC, layouts and tooling.
• English Intermediate.

Responsibilities

• This is a supervisory position responsible for supporting the manufacturing operation and business growth by providing tooling, processes, equipment, etc.
• Assignments include manufacturing processing, cost estimating (ABC), S&OP data analysis, layout, standard works, engineering changes, NPI, CAPEX management.
• Plan factory layouts, develop and implement manufacturing processes in line with CPPD and NPI changes, ensure health of PQVC.
