Job summary

AUMOVIO SE seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to develop and optimize work instructions, lead prototypes and NPI, and drive continuous improvement across our Mexican operations. The role focuses on improving OEE, capacity planning, and automated solutions to enhance productivity and quality.

You will coordinate cross-functional teams and apply lean methodologies in a fast-paced environment, contributing to production readiness and efficiency improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in industrial/manufacturing/mechanical engineering or related field.
• Intermediate English proficiency.
• 2 years in manufacturing, industrial engineering, production planning, or process improvement.
• Automotive or electronics manufacturing experience preferred.
• Excel with data analysis, Pivot Tables, reporting; VBA/Power Query is a plus.
• Microsoft Project.
• Time studies, capacity analysis, and labor planning.
• Lean Manufacturing, CI, and OEE analysis.
• Yellow/Green belt desirable.
• IA Applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain manufacturing work instructions and micro-logistics for efficiency and quality.
• Lead prototype builds, validation, and NPI for production readiness.
• Drive CI initiatives targeting productivity, quality, ergonomics, cost reduction, and ops excellence.
• Analyze OEE and production metrics to identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions across processes.
• Design and implement automation to optimize labor, material flow, and equipment.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams for process changes and engineering improvements aligned with business goals.
• Support capacity planning with time studies and workload analysis to allocate resources.
• Drive production goal execution by prioritizing resources and timelines in a fast-paced setting.
