Job summary

LEGO Group in Monterrey seeks an IT Infrastructure Engineer to own and improve our local IT infrastructure supporting both business and manufacturing operations. You will collaborate with global teams and translate requirements into reliable, secure local implementations on-site.

Role combines infrastructure engineering, networking, and IT/OT collaboration in a highly connected production setting, with focus on high availability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in IT infrastructure engineering in manufacturing environments.
• Hands-on experience with networking equipment such as Arista, Cisco, Fortinet, and with server hardware and data center infrastructure.
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, firewalls, switching and routing in LAN/WAN.
• Experience troubleshooting infrastructure issues and root-cause analysis across servers, networks, devices, and systems.
• Familiarity with IT/OT environments and industrial production IT support is a plus.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles including endpoint protection and identity management.
• Scripting or automation with PowerShell, Python, Bash or similar is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own, monitor, maintain, and support the site's IT infrastructure across servers, storage, networking and connected devices.
• Manage full hardware lifecycle from installation to decommissioning with accurate asset records.
• Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot LAN/WAN infrastructure including Arista, Cisco and Fortinet equipment.
• Collaborate with global teams on changes, upgrades, incidents and improvements.
• Manage vendor and third-party connectivity with secure external access and reliable operations.
• Support infrastructure and devices across manufacturing environments, including ruggedized endpoints, barcode scanners, printers, and industrial workstations.
• Collaborate with OT teams to ensure secure IT/OT integration.
• Respond to production-impacting IT incidents with ownership and timely restoration.
• Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize and automate repetitive tasks.
• Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing.
