Job summary
Johnson Controls seeks an HR Manager to lead daily HR support at a manufacturing site, focusing on employee relations, performance management, and safety. You will partner with plant leadership to address workplace concerns, investigations, and policy application while driving lean improvements and productivity.
You will also assist with recruitment, onboarding, and coaching of managers, ensuring compliance with labor requirements and effective people leadership in a fast-paced industrial
Qualifications
- Experience in manufacturing HR in a plant or industrial setting.
- Experience with union avoidance and labor relations.
- Experience supporting lean or continuous improvement initiatives.
- Experience with organizations of 100+ employees.
Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day HR support for manufacturing site employees and managers.
- Partner with plant leadership on employee relations and performance management.
- Support investigations, policy adherence, and workplace concerns.
- Assist with lean initiatives and productivity improvements.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and orientation for hourly and salaried openings.
- Coach supervisors on employment practices and people leadership.
