Carrier Corporation, líder global en soluciones climáticas y energéticas, busca un/a Manufacturing & Facilities Leader en Santa Catarina, México, para impulsar la excelencia operativa en fabricación y servicios de instalaciones. Coordinará equipos, optimizará KPIs y gestionará proyectos de inversión de capital.

El/la candidato/a ideal tiene licenciatura en ingeniería, al menos 7 años en operaciones y experiencia dirigiendo equipos, con dominio de Lean Manufacturing y un nivel avanzado de inglés.

Formación

• Licenciatura en Ingeniería o campo relacionado.
• 7+ años de experiencia en operaciones manufactureras o industriales.
• Fuerte experiencia gestionando equipos (supervisores, ingenieros, técnicos, operadores).
• Conocimiento de Lean Manufacturing y metodologías de mejora continua.
• Nivel avanzado de inglés.

Responsabilidades

• Promover y mantener una cultura de seguridad sólida, cumpliendo con normas EHS y políticas de la empresa.
• Liderar investigaciones de incidentes, evaluaciones de riesgos y acciones correctivas.
• Impulsar operaciones de fabricación diarias para cumplir objetivos de producción y demanda.
• Monitorear y mejorar KPIs como productividad, eficiencia laboral, scrap, tiempos de inactividad y desempeño operativo.
• Liderar operaciones en áreas clave como prensas, fabricación de bobinas y procesos de herramientas (punzonado y matricería).
• Identificar cuellos de botella y diseñar estrategias para mejorar seguridad, calidad, productividad y costo.
• Desarrollar y ejecutar proyectos de inversión de capital, con análisis de ROI.
• Liderar iniciativas de mejora continua centradas en Lean, ergonomía, automatización y reducción de desperdicios.
• Gestionar servicios de instalaciones y actuar como enlace con contratistas y proveedores externos.
• Monitorear desempeño de contratistas, KPIs, niveles de servicio y cumplimiento de normas de seguridad y operaciones.
• Asegurar cumplimiento de calidad, apoyar análisis de causa raíz y acciones correctivas.
• Liderar, formar y desarrollar equipos de supervisores, ingenieros, técnicos y operadores.
• Fomentar la responsabilidad, el compromiso y la gestión del desempeño a través de los equipos.
• Colaborar con Ingeniería, Calidad, Cadena de Suministro, Mantenimiento, Facilities, EHS y Finanzas.

About the role As a Manufacturing & Facilities Leader, you will drive operational excellence across manufacturing and facility operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-performing production environments.

This role plays a critical part in optimizing manufacturing performance while managing facility services, contractor execution, and capital investment projects. You will lead cross-functional initiatives focused on safety, quality, productivity, and cost, while developing high-performing teams and supporting business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Promoting and maintaining a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with EHS standards, LOTO procedures, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
• Leading incident investigations, risk assessments, and implementation of corrective actions.
• Driving daily manufacturing operations to meet production targets, customer demand, and business objectives.
• Monitoring and improving KPIs such as productivity, labor efficiency, scrap, downtime, throughput, and operational performance.
• Leading operations in key areas including presses, coil manufacturing, and tooling processes (punching and dies).
• Identifying operational constraints and driving strategies to optimize safety, quality, productivity, and cost.
• Developing and executing capital investment projects, including business case creation, ROI tracking, and implementation.
• Leading continuous improvement initiatives focused on Lean Manufacturing, ergonomics, automation, and waste reduction.
• Managing facility services and acting as the primary interface with contractors and third-party providers.
• Monitoring contractor performance, KPIs, service levels, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
• Ensuring quality compliance, supporting root cause analysis, and driving corrective actions.
• Leading, coaching, and developing teams including supervisors, engineers, technicians, and operators.
• Driving accountability, engagement, and performance management across teams.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Maintenance, Facilities, EHS, and Finance.

Requirements We are looking for people who are strong leaders, results-driven, highly analytical, and capable of managing complex operations while driving continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment.

As a minimum you must have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in manufacturing or industrial operations.
• Strong experience managing teams (supervisors, engineers, technicians, operators).
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Advanced English level.

Although not necessary, it would be nice if you have:

• Experience managing facilities, contractors, and third-party services.
• Experience leading CAPEX projects and investment analysis.
• Experience in presses, coil manufacturing, and tooling (dies / punching).
• Knowledge of safety systems (LOTO, EHS compliance).
• Valid visa and availability to travel occasionally.
