Carrier Corporation, líder global en soluciones climáticas y energéticas, busca un Ingeniero de Calidad Avanzada de NPI para dirigir la estrategia de calidad en nuevos desarrollos, desde diseño hasta lanzamiento. Se espera liderazgo en proyectos cruzados y cumplimiento regulatorio.

El rol implica aplicar APQP y validar procesos, equipos y fixtures, asegurando que las entregas cumplan con los hitos de NPD y apoyando a Ingeniería, Manufactura y Proveedores para integrar la calidad desde etapas

Formación

• Bachiller o equivalente en ingeniería (Industrial, Mecánica, Eléctrica o afín).
• Mínimo 5 años de experiencia en calidad, con al menos 3 años en NPI o lanzamientos de productos.
• Experiencia aplicando APQP en introducciones de producto/proceso.
• Experiencia liderando iniciativas de calidad y gestión de proyectos relacionados.
• Experiencia en industrias de manufactura (HVAC, automotriz, aeroespacial).
• Inglés avanzado (hablado y escrito).
• Los candidatos deben tener pasaporte y visa vigentes.

Responsabilidades

• Aplicar APQP utilizando la metodología Carrier Passport para apoyar la introducción de nuevos productos y procesos, asegurando calidad, satisfacción del cliente y cumplimiento normativo.
• Verificar que los equipos de planta ejecuten las actividades de calidad requeridas (validaciones, auditorías y documentación) y brindar soporte para resolver brechas y mantener la preparación de lanzamiento.
• Liderar y coordinar la validación de procesos, equipos y accesorios (p. ej., ProCert, MPR) cumpliendo requisitos internos y externos.
• Servir como puerta de calidad para los hitos de NPD y asegurar que se entreguen todos los entregables antes de pasar a la siguiente fase.
• Trabajar junto con Ingeniería, Manufactura y proveedores para incorporar la calidad en el diseño del producto y del proceso desde etapas tempranas.

About the role

The Sr. NPI Advanced Quality Engineer leads the quality strategy for new product development projects, ensuring all deliverables are met from design through launch.

Key responsibilities

Apply Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) using the Carrier Passport methodology to support the introduction of new products and processes-proactively safeguarding product quality, customer satisfaction, and regulatory compliance.

Ensure that plant teams are executing required quality activities—such as validations, audits, and documentation—according to plan. When gaps or delays arise, provide hands-on support to drive resolution and maintain launch readiness.

Lead and coordinate validation of processes, equipment, and fixtures (e.g., ProCert, MPR), ensuring full compliance with internal and external requirements.

Serve as the quality gatekeeper for NPD milestones, confirming that all deliverables are met before advancing to the next development phase.

Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supplier teams to embed quality into product and process design from the earliest stages.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field). Master’s degree is a plus.

Minimum 5 years of experience in quality, with at least 3 years in NPI or product launches.

Proven experience applying APQP methodology in product and process introductions.

Experience leading cross-functional quality initiatives and managing quality-related projects.

Experience in manufacturing industries (e.g., HVAC, automotive, aerospace).

Advanced English (spoken and written).

Candidates must have a valid passport and visa.
