Job summary

Johnson & Johnson’s Surgery and MedTech teams in Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico are seeking a Staff Business Excellence Engineer-Orthopedics. You will lead Lean initiatives, deploy JJPS, and drive continuous improvement across production processes to deliver quality, delivery, and cost outcomes.

The role requires coordinating cross-functional teams, mentoring associates to management, and applying data-driven methodologies to achieve tangible business results in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Lead, coordinate and facilitate the implementation of Lean Manufacturing efforts and the deployment of the JJPS (Johnson & Johnson Production System).
• Defines opportunities, analyzes data, designs manufacturing line flows, and improves business processes.
• Improvement initiatives are led by enlisting and influencing cross-functional teams that deliver tangible business results through the application of Lean and Six Sigma principles, methodologies and tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead plant-level improvement projects including Operational Excellence and cost reduction initiatives.
• Facilitate and support business process mapping to eliminate non-value-added activities.
• Develop, implement and mentor teams on Lean Manufacturing concepts and layouts.
