Job summary

Jabil is a global engineering, manufacturing and supply chain solutions provider seeking a Manufacturing Support Engineer to strengthen the bridge between engineering and production lines.

You will interpret assembly drawings, help define tools and processes, and support new product introductions on the shop floor, ensuring quality, efficiency, and adherence to procedures. The role emphasizes hands-on technical leadership and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Ability to present information to managers, clients and the public.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to operate a PC with Windows and related software.
• Advanced PC skills including training and knowledge of Jabil software packages.

Responsibilities

• Provides primary liaison support between engineering and manufacturing for transfer of customer documents to manufacturing process.
• Provides technical leadership to manufacturing personnel.
• Interprets assembly drawings and creates assembly work instructions.
• Aids engineering in determining tools and processes for assembly.
• Establishes routing requirements, standards and data entry into QM Module.
• Implements correct status entry into SAP.
