Job summary

Jabil, a global engineering and manufacturing leader, is seeking an Automation Engineering Technician to support design engineers across mechanical, electronics, electrical, and software automation projects. A lead role, you will guide entry and journey level technicians, draft design drawings, and provide end-user training on automation technologies.

Responsibilities include equipment design support, collaboration with assemblers, drafting manuals, and ensuring timely documentation and time

Qualifications

Advanced knowledge of mechanical, electronics, electrical and software application engineering.
Knowledge of EMS industries.
Knowledge of automation equipment assembly and installation.
Ability to lead entry and journey level technicians.

Responsibilities

Supports design of automation equipment in respective areas of expertise (Mechanical/Electronics/Electrical/Software).
Works closely with Assemblers on assembly of the designed equipment.
Supports drafting of design drawings and development of user manuals.
Conducts equipment installation and end-user training.
Ensures all engineering times are logged in the project tracking system.
May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
