Collins Aerospace, an RTX company, is a leader in technologically advanced and intelligent solutions for the global aerospace and defense industry. The Manufacturing Engineer provides engineering support to manufacturing operations within the machining business unit, supporting production flow, troubleshooting, process improvements, and the implementation of standardized processes.
This role analyzes workflow, routing, floor layouts, material handling, machine utilization, scrap and rework data,
Formación
- Bachelor's degree in STEM with 2+ years of relevant manufacturing experience.
- Advanced Excel skills for data analysis, pivot tables, and formulas.
- Hands-on experience with 3D CAD modeling and drawings.
- Experience operating soldering equipment or conformal coating processes in manufacturing.
Responsabilidades
- Provide engineering support to manufacturing operations and projects.
- Analyze workflow, routing, floor layouts, and machine utilization.
- Lead process improvement initiatives to raise efficiency.
- Perform scrap and rework analysis and standardize procedures.
- Support tooling design using SolidWorks to meet requirements.
- Troubleshoot manufacturing issues to minimize disruptions.
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders in English.
