Descripción de la vacante

Caterpillar Inc. in Mexico is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to execute day-to-day assembly processes, support production lines, and ensure PQVC goals are met while complying with safety and environmental standards.

You will manage APQP/PPAP aligned with NPI, drive process improvements, coach operations staff, and collaborate across engineering to maintain equipment reliability on multiple shifts with up to 20% travel.

Formación

Requires a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, materials engineering, mechatronics engineering or related field.
Intermediate English required.

Responsabilidades

Ensure robust production process and value stream documentation.
Analyze defects and establish safe standard work procedures.
Update assembly and testing machines to prevent/detect defects.
Improve workflow and equipment to lower production cost and increase delivery velocity.
Maintain APQP/PPAP documentation and CQMS alignment in the value stream.
Provide coaching to operations staff and engineering support for equipment planning and maintenance.
Support new product introduction (NPI) aligned with APQP/PPAP.
Travel up to 20% for production line implementation and support.
