Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support and optimize manufacturing processes, including machining, assembly, automation, and robotics.

You will analyze capabilities, tooling strategies, and process monitoring to improve safety, quality, cost, and delivery performance. The role requires collaboration with production, quality, maintenance, and leadership teams, applying lean tools such as SMED, line balancing, and continuous improvement.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or manufacturing engineering preferred.
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide engineering guidance and troubleshoot manufacturing operations.
• Identify and implement improvements for safety, quality, cost, and throughput.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for chronic issues.
• Manage ECNs/PCNs and support production ramp-up.
• Collaborate with production, quality, maintenance, supply chain, and leadership.
