Descripción de la vacante

SEGULA Technologies in Saltillo seeks an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to lead layout optimization, equipment installation, and ramp-up initiatives. You will ensure shopfloor readiness for production launch while upholding safety, efficiency, and quality standards.

You will optimize material flow, perform time and motion analyses, and coordinate with vendors and maintenance teams to meet technical specs.

Formación

Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related technical field.
3-5+ years in manufacturing engineering, line transfer/commissioning, or NPI.
Proficiency in AutoCAD or 3D CAD modeling tools for layout design and line planning.
Hands-on experience with Lean Manufacturing, line balancing, time study methods, VSM, 5S, and SMED.
Proven track record in drafting process sheets, routings, SOPs, and work instructions.
Advanced/Fluent English (written and spoken) for international and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsabilidades

Evaluate and optimize shopfloor layout and material flow to maximize efficiency, ergonomics and safety.
Plan, coordinate, and validate installation, startup, and commissioning of machinery and lines.
Lead stage-gate reviews and create/update technical documentation (SOPs, Process Sheets, Control Plans).
Execute pilot runs and ramp-up, troubleshoot deviations and implement CAPA actions.
Drive Lean initiatives on the shopfloor and monitor metrics like OEE, cycle time and FPY.
Track project deliverables and ensure handover of qualified production lines to local operations.
