Vertiv seeks an experienced manufacturing change specialist to manage COs, Ds, and BOM accuracy in a fast-paced facility. You will collaborate with Engineering to ensure manufacturability and drive process improvements across multiple regional ERP tools.

Strong leadership and English proficiency are required. You will coordinate with manufacturing, quality, and operations to implement changes, monitor deviations, and lead cross-functional teams across locations.

Formación

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
  • 3–4 years of experience in manufacturing and mechanical processes.
  • 1–2 years of experience in ERP and PDM systems.
  • Advanced English (written & verbal).
  • Ability to foster cross-functional relationships across teams and locations.
  • Strong leadership and project-management skills.

Responsabilidades

  • Track COs and Deviations through PLM and ERP tools to ensure timely deployment.
  • Collaborate with Engineering to define and improve products for DFM and BOM accuracy.
  • Coordinate with stock-keeping units release and COs peer reviews.
  • Integrate Change Requests from manufacturing, operations, and quality needs.
  • Generate and monitor Deviations per Fit/Form/Function analysis.
  • Validate drawings, 3D models and schematics for correct fabrication.
  • Review PCCs and define BOMs per production line capacity and layouts.
  • Analyze impact of COs and Deviations and coordinate cross-department tasks.
  • Manage Change Control Board for effective change implementation.

Descripción del empleo

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Track the engineering Change Orders (COs) and Deviations through Integral Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems and processes to ensure timely completion and deployment in multiple regional Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tools.
  • Work with the Engineering team for the definition, modification and improvement of the products, in order to have an accurate Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Bill of Materials (BOMs).
  • Work with corporate process owners on Stock Keeping Units (SKUs) release and COs peer reviews.
  • Understand and integrate Change Requests (CRs) originated by manufacturing, operations, and quality necessities.
  • Generation and follow up of Deviations (Ds) according to the Fit, Form and Function analysis.
  • Drawings, 3D models and schematics validation for the correct fabrication of the products.
  • Process Control Codes (PCCs) review and definition for the BOMs used in each production line according to the established capacity, capability and layouts of these.
  • Impact analysis of the COs and Ds that affect the Organization, coordinating and establishing the required tasks and activities that need to be carried out for each department.
  • Change Control Board (CCB) management for the excellent implementation of all the changes.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3-4 years of experience in manufacturing and mechanical processes.
  • 1-2 years of experience in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Product Data Management (PDM) systems
  • Advance English Level - written & verbal.
  • Ability to facilitate positive and effective cross-functional relationships across multiple teams and geographic locations.
  • Prioritization and urgency sense.
  • Strong leadership and project-management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Expertise in HVAC, Liquid Cooling or Thermal systems, automotive industry, or electronic industry.
PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS
  • The role is primarily placed in a manufacturing facility, requiring regular site visits and interaction with production teams.
  • Required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhere to safety protocols.
  • The role involves 50% of administrative responsibilities and 50% of operational responsibilities.
