Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
• 90 % English level, written and oral communication
• 8+ years of relevant experience in appropriate equivalent experience
• Requires analytical ability as well as excellent oral and written communications skills and thorough knowledge concerning the capabilities of both domestic and foreign suppliers
• Manufacturing experience
• Supervisor experience
• Knowledgeable and experience with Project Management basics
• Negotiation with Customers and prioritization skills
• Provides effective communication and services in solving production problems or pursuing operational improvements

Job Description

• Works closely with operations and product managers for automated manufacturing systems, manufacturing processes and product engineering to ensure common goals in support of product group objectives.
• Develop and execute a comprehensive facility salvage strategy by identifying and prioritizing opportunities to leverage core and new parts, maximizing variable margins while supporting operational efficiency, inventory optimization, and new product launch requirements.

Job Duties/Responsibilities May Include, But Are Not Limited To

• Overseeing programs and practices for hiring, performance management and developing/training the personnel that perform and support the plant operating functions.
• Leading assembly, manufacturing processing, cost estimating, systems planning, layout, standards, releasing, gaging and checking equipment, tooling and work standards.
• Coordinating release dates and availability of machines, equipment and material schedules to satisfy demand. Ensuring implementation of modern technology and verifies the effectiveness of equipment and systems.

Capacity Planning & Management - MFG: Knowledge of tools, approaches and practices for determining production demand and ability to manage resources needed to provide satisfactory levels of service.

• Documents major considerations of product promotions and analyzes their effect on production and required capacity.
• Provides management reports on actual and projected capacity requirements.
• Uses available tools to interpret forecasts and work out required capacity.
• Participates in developing short-term capacity requirements for a specific product or plant.
• Collects and collates key elements of demand chain used in developing capacity requirements.
