Job summary

KTSA – KPMG Technology Services Americas in Mexico leads IT Disaster Recovery initiatives and collaborates across teams to strengthen internal services and resiliency. The role builds dashboards with PowerBI, Splunk and ServiceNow BCM, documents enhancements, and develops automation and AI solutions to reduce risk and costs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 5-8 years of IT Disaster Recovery/DevOps experience.
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodology and Scrum (CSM preferred).
• Familiarity with SRE/DevOps automation to streamline workflows.
• Experience with PowerBI, Splunk, ServiceNow and related tools.
• Hands-on automation scripting and AI tooling experience.
• Ability to translate business needs into service improvements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; able to interact across levels.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and collaborate IT Disaster recovery initiatives to enhance internal services for stakeholders.
• Dashboard building using KPMG tools (PowerBI, Splunk, ServiceNow BCM, etc.)
• Document and give proper tracking to enhancements required by the team in Business Continuity Module in SNow, Monday.com.
• Develop business cases and implement automation tools & AI to enhance IT Disaster recovery practice, simplify processes, reduce risk, increase resiliency on critical applications, and reduce costs.
• Provide Technical and Implementation support for ITDR Self-Service Project.
• Participates in internal forums for the adoption of new technologies, best practices and methodologies for improving the services offered by IT Disaster Recovery team.
• Act as liaison between IT DR Ops Team and IT DR innovation/developers to implement DevOps practice to eliminate the roadblocks and accelerate the high-quality improvements.
• Act as Scrum Master for Innovation team, perform agile ceremonies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent work experience.
• 5-8 years of experience
• Strong understanding of Agile methodology and Scrum framework (Certified Scrum Master preferred)
• Knowledge on SRE/DevOps practice for automating and streamlining workflows
• Familiarity with tools like PowerBI, Splunk, ServiceNow, etc.
• Hand-on experience with automation tools to address operational challenges. i.e. Scripting, Power Automate, AI tools
• Capability to understand business needs and translate them into initiatives for service improvements.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Knowledge of IT Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity
• Strong verbal/written communication, with ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels of responsibility and authority.
• Ability to prioritize and to work on multiple projects simultaneously
