Job summary

KTSA – KPMG Technology Services Americas, a Service Delivery Center of KPMG US with offices in Mexico City and Guadalajara, seeks an experienced Issue Manager to lead remediation efforts across multiple projects.

You will translate complex cyber and operational challenges into actionable business insights, drive investigations and root cause analysis, manage timelines, and provide timely input for leadership reports.

Qualifications

• End-to-end Issue Manager experience is a plus.
• Strong ability to translate technical and operational challenges into business impact.
• Proven ability to manage multiple remediation projects and audit responses.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the end-to-end Issue Manager for assigned issues and action plans, leading investigations, root cause analysis, remediation plans and timelines.
• Build relationships with issue and remediation owners to promote accountability and monitor progress against milestones.
• Translate complex technical challenges into clear business insights to inform leadership decisions.
• Balance competing deadlines across remediation efforts, audit responses, and escalation requests while maintaining quality and compliance.

• Serve as the end-to-end Issue Manager for assigned issues and action plans, leading investigations, facilitating root cause analysis, defining remediation plans and timelines, preparing for and leading working sessions and shepherding issues through verified closure.
• Build strong relationships with issue and remediation owners to promote accountability, monitor progress against milestones, challenge insufficient evidence, remove obstacles, and elevate risks or delays as needed to ensure timely remediation.
• Translate complex technical, cyber, and operational challenges into clear, actionable business impacts and risk-based insights to facilitate informed decision-making by executive leadership and key stakeholders.
• Effectively balance competing deadlines across multiple concurrent remediation efforts, audit response timelines, and ad-hoc risk escalation requests, and maintain high quality and compliance standards.
• Provide accurate, timely, and comprehensive input for monthly and quarterly leadership reports and presentations. Escalate directly to Issue Owners when issues are at risk of missing due dates.
• Be an active project team member or self-manage small projects, which may include facilitating team meetings; publishing meeting notes and action items; updating procedure and process documents; and ensuring timely completion of assigned action items.
