Job summary

Regal Rexnord is seeking a seasoned Manufacturing Leader for our Veracruz operations. This onsite role oversees multiple shifts in a precision machining environment, driving SQDC metrics and leading supervisors and production staff.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Engineering or related field, with a Master’s or MBA and Lean/Six Sigma training considered highly desirable. Knowledge of LFT/NOM-STPS and MRP/ERP systems is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience with supervisors and production staff.
• Experience managing manufacturing operations across multiple shifts.
• Experience in precision machining environments (CNC lathes, milling) is highly desirable.
• Track record managing Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost (SQDC).
• Experience with resource planning, production scheduling, labor management and budgeting.
• Lean initiatives, Kaizen events, 6S, standard work, waste reduction and continuous improvement.
• Knowledge of MRP/ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong performance management and employee development abilities.
• Familiarity with Mexican labor, safety, health, environment requirements (LFT, STPS).

Job description

Work Model

This is a fully onsite role, with work performed at your designated Regal Rexnord office.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering,or a related field required.
• Master's degree in Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, or Business Administration (MBA) is desirable.
• Training or certification in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement, or problem-solving methodologies is highly desirable.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience , including direct responsibility for supervisors and production associates.
• Previous experience as a Production Manager, Manufacturing Manager, Senior Production Supervisor, or equivalent leadership position preferred.
• Demonstrated experience managing manufacturing operations across multiple shifts.
• Experience in precision machining environments , including familiarity with CNC lathes, milling operations, tooling, fixtures, and machining processes , highly desirable.
• Demonstrated experience managing key manufacturing indicators related to Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) .
• Experience in resource and capacity planning, production scheduling, labor management, productivity improvement, and budget control.
• Experience leading Kaizen events, Lean Manufacturing initiatives, 6S, standard work, waste reduction, and continuous improvement projects .
• Working knowledge of MRP/ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong experience in performance management, employee development, accountability, and resolution/escalation of operational and personnel issues.
• Working knowledge of applicable Mexican labor, occupational safety, health, and environmental requirements , with particular emphasis on the Ley Federal del Trabajo (LFT) and requirements applicable to manufacturing operations.
• Working knowledge of applicable Secretaría del Trabajo y Previsión Social (STPS) regulations and Mexican Official Standards ( NOM-STPS ) relevant to the processes, machinery, equipment, and workplace hazards under the position's responsibility.
• Partner with EHS and Human Resources to ensure production activities are performed in accordance with applicable labor, safety, health, internal policy, and training requirements.
