Carrier Global Corporation seeks an experienced Manager, Accounting & Controllership to lead core accounting and financial reporting, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and statutory requirements. You will guide a team, drive process improvements, and partner with business leaders to support financial strategy and controls.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, analytical thinking, and collaboration with cross‑functional teams, delivering accurate financials and continuous improvements.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Accounting or Finance.
• Advanced English proficiency, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of revenue recognition and capitalization accounting.
• Strong understanding of statutory reporting and US GAAP requirements.
• Experience supporting financial reporting, controllership, and compliance activities.
• Professional accounting certifications such as CPA, CMA, or equivalent.

Responsabilidades

• Participate in month-end closing for ALC Field Operations.
• Review monthly journal entries and reconciliations for ALC Field Operations.
• Support POC accounting functions and other complex estimates/calculations.
• Provide CFIN support and prepare financial data (including HFM data).
• Provide balance sheet fluctuation analyses.
• Maintain SOX (level 2) standard work documentation and audits.
• Maintain strong internal controls environment.
• Handle special ad-hoc projects as assigned.

About the Role

As a Manager, Accounting & Controllership, you will lead critical accounting and financial reporting activities that support Carrier’s business operations and strategic objectives. In this role, you will ensure compliance with statutory and US GAAP requirements, maintain a strong internal control environment, and provide valuable financial guidance to business partners. You will also have the opportunity to lead a team, drive process improvements, and contribute to the overall financial success of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in the month-end closing process for ALC Field Operations
• Review monthly journal entries and account reconciliations for ALC Field Operations
• Support POC accounting functions, and other complex estimates/calculations
• Provide CFIN support and prepare financial data (including HFM supplemental data)
• Provide balance sheet fluctuation analyses
• Maintain accounting & SOX (level 2) standard work documentation (GAP Assessment, etc.) and internal/external audits
• Maintain a strong internal controls environment
• Special ad‑hoc projects as assigned

Requirements

We are looking for people who are strong leaders, analytical thinkers, collaborative business partners, and results‑driven professionals.

As a minimum you must have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Accounting or Finance.
• Advanced English proficiency, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of revenue recognition and capitalization accounting.
• Strong understanding of statutory reporting and US GAAP requirements.
• Experience supporting financial reporting, controllership, and compliance activities.

Although not necessary, it would be nice if you have:

• Prior people management experience leading on‑site and remote teams.
• Experience driving process improvement and financial transformation initiatives.
• Exposure to multinational or shared services environments.
• Experience supporting corporate reporting and CFIN‑related projects.
• Professional accounting certifications such as CPA, CMA, or equivalent.
