Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Manager in a metalworking or metal-mechanical manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary maintenance teams.
• Strong knowledge of industrial maintenance systems, equipment reliability, and performance indicators.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the maintenance team, ensuring operational efficiency and performance.
• Develop and execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance strategies to maximize equipment availability.
• Drive improvements in critical production lines, reducing unplanned downtime and recurring equipment failures.
• Monitor and improve key maintenance indicators such as MTTR, MTBF, and preventive maintenance compliance.
• Ensure reliability of manufacturing equipment and processes (tube cutting, welding, automated assembly, painting, and related technologies).
• Lead root cause analysis and implement sustainable solutions to equipment reliability issues.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Operations to achieve plant performance objectives.

Maintenance Manager

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations at our manufacturing facility in Celaya, Guanajuato.

This position will play a critical role in improving equipment reliability, increasing production line availability, and driving maintenance excellence in a highly automated metalworking environment.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise, proven leadership capabilities, and a results-oriented approach to continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the maintenance team, ensuring operational efficiency, technical capabilities, and team performance.
• Develop and execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance strategies to maximize equipment availability.
• Drive improvements in critical production lines, reducing unplanned downtime and recurring equipment failures.
• Monitor and improve key maintenance indicators, including MTTR, MTBF, equipment availability, and preventive maintenance compliance.
• Ensure the reliability of manufacturing equipment and processes, including tube cutting, welding, automated assembly, electrostatic painting, and related production technologies.
• Lead root cause analysis and implement sustainable solutions to equipment reliability issues.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Operations teams to achieve plant performance objectives.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Manager in a metalworking or metal-mechanical manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary maintenance teams.
• Strong knowledge of industrial maintenance systems, equipment reliability, and performance indicators.

Technical expertise in:

• PLC programming and troubleshooting.
• Industrial robotics and automation.
• Industrial electrical and control systems.
• Mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Predictive maintenance tools and technologies.
• Demonstrated ability to improve equipment availability and reduce unplanned downtime.
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency (minimum 70%).
