Nemak Spain SL. is seeking a Maintenance Head in Monterrey to lead maintenance operations, maximize equipment availability, and ensure safety and environmental standards are met. You will guide teams across engineering, quality, and production to drive reliability and continuous improvement.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in engineering discipline, 7+ years in industrial maintenance, and leadership experience with CNC machinery and automated systems. A strong FRACAS/5 Why capability is essential.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• Minimum 7 years in industrial maintenance.
• Minimum 5 years leading maintenance teams.
• Strong knowledge of CNC machines, robots, leak testers, and automated equipment.
• Experience with Root Cause Analysis methodologies (FRACAS, 5 Why, Ishikawa).

Responsabilidades

• Lead maintenance operations to maximize equipment availability and reliability.
• Drive compliance with HSE standards, LOTO procedures, audits, and zero-incident goals.
• Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance programs are executed.
• Lead Root Cause Analysis activities using FRACAS, 5 Why, and Ishikawa.
• Manage maintenance backlog, resources, and prioritization of critical issues.
• Monitor maintenance KPIs and implement improvement actions.
• Control maintenance budget and promote cost reduction.
• Support ISO 14001 environmental compliance and continuous improvement.
• Develop and coach maintenance technicians and leaders.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Quality, and EHS teams.

Maintenance Head

Objective

The Maintenance Head is responsible for leading maintenance operations to maximize equipment availability, reliability, and maintainability while ensuring compliance with HSE standards, cost objectives, and operational performance goals.

Main Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance operations to ensure maximum equipment availability and reliability.
• Drive compliance with HSE standards, LOTO procedures, audits, and zero-incident objectives.
• Ensure execution and compliance of preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
• Lead Root Cause Analysis activities using methodologies such as FRACAS, 5 Why, and Ishikawa.
• Manage maintenance backlog, resource allocation, and prioritization of critical equipment issues.
• Monitor maintenance KPIs and implement actions to improve performance.
• Control maintenance budget and promote cost reduction initiatives.
• Support ISO 14001, environmental compliance, and continuous improvement programs.
• Develop and coach maintenance technicians and leaders to build a high-performance team.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Quality, and EHS teams to drive operational excellence.

Position Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in industrial maintenance.
• Minimum 5 years of experience leading maintenance teams.
• Strong knowledge of CNC machines, industrial robots, leak testers, and automated manufacturing equipment.
• Experience with Root Cause Analysis methodologies (FRACAS, 5 Why, Ishikawa).
• Knowledge of CMMS systems; SAP PM experience is preferred.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
