AUMOVIO is seeking an experienced SMT Tooling Engineer in Aguascalientes to manage tooling assets, improve availability, and control inventory. You will work with Fuji heads, feeders and nozzles, ensuring reliability and calibration control while supporting global tooling standards and safety compliance.

You will lead maintenance programs, use SMARTOOL systems, and collaborate with production to implement cost-effective improvements.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Mechatronics/Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of SMT manufacturing, tooling management or maintenance engineering.
• Knowledge of Fuji NXT Gen 2 and Gen 3 platforms.
• Experience with Heads, Feeders and Nozzles maintenance and control.
• Experience using SMARTOOL systems.
• SAP PM knowledge.
• Problem solving and root cause analysis skills.
• Project management; Six Sigma Green Belt preferred.
• Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
• English communication skills.
• Knowledge of ESD, 5S, ISO 14001/ ISO 45001, LOTO and cybersecurity awareness.

Job Description

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES:

• Manage SMT Tooling Assets.
• Ensure Tooling Reliability and Readiness.
• Control Tooling Inventory and Traceability.
• Drive Performance and Continuous Improvement.
• Support Production and Technology Development.
• Responsible for the management, availability, traceability and performance of SMT tooling assets, including Fuji Heads, Feeders and Nozzles, supporting production requirements for AUMOVIO SMT operations.
• Ensure tooling is maintained in optimal condition through corrective/preventive maintenance (cleaning, calibration control and continuous improvement activities).
• Manage tooling inventory, storage, allocation and lifecycle to guarantee equipment readiness and minimize production interruptions.
• Develop and maintain tooling standards, work instructions and training programs for technicians.
• Monitor tooling related KPIs, analyze performance trends, drive corrective actions and implement improvement projects to increase availability, reliability and cost effectiveness.
• Support local and global AUMOVIO technical communities in establishing standards, best practices and tooling innovation projects.
