Spellman High Voltage Electronics Corporation is seeking an experienced production machinist supervisor in Matamoros to manage machining processes and workflow. You will read drawings, coordinate work orders, and oversee setup and inspections to ensure quality and on‑time delivery.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in machining, basic English, and familiarity with Glovia systems and common machining equipment. This on‑site role supports a growing manufacturing team in the region.

Formación

• Technical or high school diploma required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in machining and tooling or a similar position.
• Knowledge of basic electricity and electrical control.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems and preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance of machine tools.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and setup instructions.

Responsabilidades

• Review and prioritize production orders and dispatch at shift start and end.
• Operate and maintain machining equipment (milling, lathes, CNC or manual).
• Interpret drawings and setup documentation, process charts, and flow charts.
• Perform setup, process inspections, and self‑directed inspections.
• Coordinate work orders for machined parts and ensure on‑time production.

Position Objective/Purpose: Responsible for production management in machining processes, as well as production and human resource planning. Authorities: Consult FMI-143 for individual standard operating procedures related to authorities/responsibilities in management systems.

• Review dispatch at the beginning and end of the shift, identifying each order.
• Correctly identify the types of material to be processed and assign priorities to operators.
• Read and communicate instructions established in supporting documentation such as setup, visual aids, process charts, drawings, alerts, and flow charts.
• Management and operation of conventional milling machines, a conventional lathe, and secondary operations.
• Interpretation of drawings.
• Execution and coordination of work orders for the production of products pending machining.
• Operation and maintenance of machining equipment through MP2.
• Setup, process inspection, and self‑directed inspection.
• Process inspection and self‑directed inspection of first parts.
• Including all activities inherent to the position.
• Weighting/Level: (1-Basic, 2-Intermediate, 3-Advanced, 4-Specialized)
• Technical or high school diploma.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in the machining and tooling field or a similar position.
• Handling and knowledge of at least two of the following equipment: (Milling machine, conventional and CNC lathe, CNC router, grinder, vertical band saw, circular saw, grinder, drill press, and tooling for all machining equipment).
• Glovia system management
• Pneumatics (Basic)
• Knowledge of basic electricity and electrical control
• Knowledge of mechanical systems
• Knowledge of preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance of machine and tool equipment
• Basic English
