Nemak is seeking an Operations Head – Machining to lead all machining production activities with a focus on safety, quality, delivery, cost, and continuous improvement. You will drive lean initiatives, optimize equipment utilization, and coordinate cross-functional teams to meet customer requirements.

The role requires strong leadership in high-volume machining environments, expertise in 3- to 5-axis CNC processes, and extensive knowledge of TPS, OEE, and quality systems.

Formación

• Master’s Degree is desirable. Bachelor’s degree in industrial, mechanical, manufacturing, or systems engineering or related field.
• 7–10 years in machining operations within automotive or metalworking environments.
• 3–5 years in leadership/management roles overseeing machining operations.
• Strong technical expertise in multi-axis CNC machining and tooling strategies.
• Experience with Lean/ TPS and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Advanced knowledge of process capability, tooling optimization, and quality systems.
• Advanced English proficiency required.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and manage all machining production operations and ensure performance against safety, quality, delivery, cost, and environmental objectives.
• Develop and execute strategies to boost productivity, efficiency, and overall performance.
• Ensure targets, KPIs, and customer requirements are consistently met.
• Coordinate manpower, machine utilization, tooling, and material handling activities.
• Oversee production planning execution for on-time deliveries and continuity.
• Promote a safety culture with focus on zero incidents and risk prevention.
