Job summary

Copeland in Reynosa, Mexico, is seeking an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer ME/Machining Engineer to design, implement and optimize machining processes for new products. You will lead equipment selection, parameter definition, and process validation while collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet safety, quality and cost targets.

The role requires 3–5 years of machining experience, proficiency with SolidWorks/AutoCAD, and bilingual Spanish-English communication.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience.
• Experience with machining processes.
• Ability to manage projects.
• Fluent in Spanish and English.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement machining processes for new products and engineering changes.
• Select machinery, tooling, fixtures, and auxiliary equipment.
• Set process parameters to optimize manufacturing performance.
• Lead New Product Introductions ensuring quality, cost, and launch goals.
• Develop and validate processes with capability studies and statistical analyses.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation (work instructions, process sheets, PFMEA, control plans).
