Corning Incorporated in Mexico seeks a front-line supervisor for Receiving and Stockrooms. You will coordinate daily activities, assign staff, and ensure timely material handling to support manufacturing continuity.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree, 1 year in receiving/stockrooms, SAP familiarity, and bilingual capabilities to operate across functions while maintaining inventory accuracy and safety standards.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• 1 year receiving/stockrooms administrative or supervisory experience.
• SAP knowledge is preferred.
• C-TPAT, OEA and safety culture.
• Bilingual abilities are required.

Responsabilidades

• Daily plans and coordinates work activities for material handler, clerk, or assigned personnel.
• Assigns personnel to offload incoming material and route within the facility.
• Coordinates distribution of MRO items to customers promptly.
• Ensures raw materials are picked and delivered to manufacturing areas without interruptions.
• Maintains inventory accuracy via cycle counts to meet department goals.
• Performs area inspections to ensure housekeeping and safety compliance.

Coordinate and provide front line supervision of all activities through assigned personnel on receipt, transfers and inventory accuracy inventory within Receiving and Stockrooms areas.

Major Responsibilities And Tasks Of The Position

• Daily plans and coordinates work activities for material handler, clerk or any personnel assigned
• Assigns personnel to offload in a timely manner all incoming material and routes accordingly within facility
• Coordinates distribution of MRO items to customers throughout the facility in an expeditiously manner
• Assure raw material components are picked and delivered to Manufacturing areas without production interruptions
• Maintains accurate inventory through supporting cycle count program to meet department goals
• Performs area inspections and audits as required to ensure housekeeping and safety violations are non-existent
• Coordination based on production needs dispatch of materials as required
