Vertiv Co in Monterrey, Mexico, is seeking a skilled Import/Export Operations Specialist to manage IMMEX-related logistics and compliance.

You will coordinate with customs brokers, maintain Annex 24 inventory controls, and work across logistics, planning, production, and engineering to ensure accurate customs declarations and traceability, including after-hours support when required.

The role requires at least one year of experience, fluent English, and willingness to travel.

Formación

• One year of experience in import/export operations.
• Experience in managing Annex 24 inventory control systems.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate and supervise import and export operations per customs regs.
• Coordinate with Customs Brokers to ensure timely clearances and address issues.
• Administer and monitor Annex 24 inventory control.
• Coordinate with internal areas to ensure execution and traceability of IMMEX ops.
• Apply customs regimes (temporary imports, virtual operations, returns, changes) correctly.
• Monitor compliance with Non-Tariff Regulations and IMMEX restrictions.
• Prepare, validate, and transmit customs declarations; ensure tariff/tax data consistency.
• Retain foreign trade compliance files per current regulations.
• Coordinate customs support during extended hours, second shifts, weekends.

Descripción del empleo

Activities:

• Coordinate and supervise import and export operations, ensuring compliance with current customs regulations and the company’s internal procedures.
• Maintain constant coordination with Customs Brokers to ensure timely clearances, addressing inspections, amendments, operational errors, and government requirements.
• Administer and monitor proper inventory control in accordance with Annex 24 requirements.
• Coordinate with internal areas such as logistics, planning, production, procurement, engineering, and Compliance to ensure proper execution and traceability of IMMEX operations.
• Ensure the correct application of customs regimes (temporary imports, virtual operations, returns, and changes of regime), verifying that transactions are executed within authorized terms and conditions.
• Monitor compliance with Non-Tariff Regulations and Restrictions applicable to IMMEX operations (NOMs, prior permits, automatic notices, quotas, certifications, among others).
• Supervise the proper preparation, validation, and transmission of customs declarations, ensuring consistency of tariff, tax, and identifier information.
• Ensure the integration and retention of foreign trade compliance files in accordance with current regulations.
• Coordinate customs support during extended hours, second shifts, and/or weekends, as required by operational needs.

Qualifications: -

Required/ Minimum Qualifications: -

• University Degree – Management or Engineering school preferably
• One year of experience.
• Experience in managing Annex 24 inventory control systems.
