TE Connectivity in Hermosillo, Mexico seeks a Quality professional to support DC operations by coordinating containment, 8D reports, and corrective actions. The role focuses on maintaining product integrity and driving continuous improvement within cross-functional teams.

The candidate should have 1–2 years in Quality or Logistics Quality, experience with audits, and knowledge of ISO 9001. Proficiency in SAP/ERP and Excel is preferred; English communication is required.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in Quality or Logistics Quality.
• Experience with 8D, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Experience supporting internal or external audits.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001; IATF 16949 knowledge is a plus.
• Warehouse or Distribution Center experience is desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Support quality activities across all DC operations.
• Investigate material, labeling, inventory, and process issues.
• Coordinate containment of nonconforming material.
• Prepare and follow up on 8D reports and corrective actions.
• Use problem-solving tools such as 5 Whys, Fishbone, and Pareto.
• Support quality complaints from customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Participate in audits and follow up on findings.
• Ensure compliance with the QMS, ISO 9001, and TE requirements.
• Monitor quality KPIs and recurring issues.
• Collaborate with Operations and cross-functional teams.
• Support standardization, mistake-proofing, and continuous improvement.
• Follow TE, EHS, Global Logistics and quality requirements.

Job Description:

Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Distribution & Logistics Quality team supports the effective flow of materials through the Distribution Center while ensuring compliance with applicable quality requirements, internal procedures, customer expectations, and operational objectives. The team partners with warehouse operations and cross-functional stakeholders to prevent defects, maintain material identification and traceability, resolve nonconformances, and drive continuous improvement.

This position supports quality activities across Inbound, Warehousing, Inventory Control, Outbound, and local Distribution Center processes. The role is responsible for coordinating containment, problem-solving, corrective actions, quality documentation, and audit readiness to protect product integrity and minimize operational disruption.

Responsibilities

What your background should look like

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience, preferably in Quality or Logistics Quality.
• Experience with 8D, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Experience supporting internal or external audits.
• Knowledge of basic quality tools, CAPA, FMEA, or Control Plans.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001; IATF 16949 knowledge is a plus.
• Warehouse or Distribution Center experience is desirable.
• SAP or ERP knowledge and Excel skills.
• Proficient written and verbal English.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
• Strong sense of urgency, ownership, and customer focus.
