Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a logistics-focused professional to develop, oversee, and maximize the efficiency of end-to-end supply chain networks for a primary facility and external warehouses.
You will lead a team, design plans, and implement programs in compliance with regulations to achieve cost and service goals. The role emphasizes data-driven decision making, collaboration across functions, and continuous improvement using modern digital tools such as Power BI and MS Office 365.

Develops, oversees, and strives to maximize the efficiency of the targeted logistics, distribution and/or transportation networks necessary to provide end-to-end supply chains, typically for 1 location plus external warehouses.
Logistics Transportation and Distribution (CLTD) highly desired.
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering or related fields

Supports efforts to minimize operational bottlenecks and delays, thereby controlling associated costs. Operates real-time inventory management software, under guidance, to ensure timely movement of supplies. Maintains accurate item and inventory management records.
Contributes to the development of process flows that monitor lead time for individual activities. Utilizes forecasting tools, with supervision, to estimate delivery timelines, determine costs, and assess logistics performance. Maintains comprehensive records of shipments and invoices in accordance with established protocols.
Raises awareness of potential scheduling bottlenecks and disruptions. Break down tasks into actionable steps for inclusion in personal work plans. Escalates issues involving competing or conflicting priorities as appropriate.
Provides input for project tracking tools such as Gantt or PERT charts. Plans and estimates simple projects under supervision. Assists in preparing detailed project plans encompassing cost, schedule, and resource needs.
Discusses considerations involved in integrating partner and supplier transactions. Identifies software systems and components used in supply chain management. Summarizes supply chain factors for various products or components.
Top Candidates also have: MBA, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Systems, Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement or related to the field Certification in 6 Sigma Black Belt Demonstrate excellent oral and written communications skills. Excellent interpersonal communication and leadership skills. Advanced knowledge in the Digital Tools MS OFFICE 365 (Power Apps, Automate, Power BI, Data Analytics) Certification in APICS, CPIM, Supply Chain Professional
Location: Santa Catarina, Nuevo León Facility. This position is five-day a week in-office model. This position will require travelling up to 05% of working time (Domestic and International). Valid Travel Visa and Passport Sponsorship for foreign candidates is not available. Domestic Relocation assistance is available for this position.
