Job summary

Schaeffler Mexico Servic in Puebla, Mexico, seeks a detail-oriented intern to support accounts payable activities related to transportation invoices, PO and rate verification, and tracking discrepancies. This role requires good Excel skills and English proficiency.

You will gain hands-on experience with ERP systems, contribute to reporting, and collaborate with Finance, Procurement, and Operations to resolve issues in a dynamic, global tech environment.

Qualifications

• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and lookups.
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Good organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and follow procedures.
• Basic knowledge of invoices, purchase orders, and logistics processes.
• English at professional level (C1).

Responsibilities

• Verify transportation invoices against transport orders, purchase orders, agreed rates, and proof of delivery.
• Check freight charges, fuel surcharges, tolls, taxes, and additional services.
• Identify duplicate invoices, incorrect amounts, missing documents, or rate discrepancies.
• Record invoice status and discrepancies in the ERP or tracking files.
• Follow up with carriers, Finance, Procurement, and Operations to resolve issues.
• Prepare basic reports on processed, rejected, and pending invoices.
