Schaeffler, a global technology leader, seeks an IT professional to implement and support SAP-based solutions, including S/4 HANA, ABAP, and UI5, with strong logistics process knowledge. The role requires collaboration across IT and business units, documentation, and adherence to security standards.

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years in SAP projects, fluent English, and the ability to work independently while collaborating in a team across global locations.

Formación

• Bachelor level degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent.
• 4+ years SAP project or support experience.
• S/4 and R3 are mandatory.
• Strong SAP technical capability (ABAP/UI5 preferred).
• Knowledge of SAP IM/WM/EWM and logistics processes.
• Fluent English in writing and speaking.

Responsabilidades

• Implement and document IT solutions based on IT architecture guidelines.
• Assist in requirements analysis and development of technical concepts.
• Configure and customize SAP-based systems including ECC LE/WM, EWM.
• Participate in integration, testing, and rollout of IT systems including DevOps.
• Support maintenance and operation of IT applications and services.
• Create training materials and end-user IT documentation.
• Evaluate SAP/3rd party solutions and plan SAP maintenance.
• Ensure compliance and security requirements are met.
• Collaborate with IT teams and business units for successful integration.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Implement and document IT solutions based on IT architecture guidelines
• Assist in requirements analysis and development of technical concepts
• Perform configuration and customization, especially in SAP-based systems
• Participate in integration, testing, and rollout of IT systems including DevOps aspects
• Support the maintenance and support of ongoing IT applications and services
• Help create training materials and documentation for end users and IT colleagues
• Participate in the evaluation and selection of SAP/3rd party solutions, as well as in the planning and execution of SAP software maintenance (OSS-Notes, support packages, upgrades)
• Ensure compliance and security requirements are met within the scope of responsibilities
• Support the implementation and operation of IT solutions that meet business requirements and IT standards
• Implement technical solutions closely aligned with IT Solution Architects and specialist teams
• Ensure high-quality and timely delivery of IT components
• Assist in analyzing and resolving technical issues in the assigned applications
• Management and compliance with SLAs (service level agreement with internal and external customers) and OLAs (internal IT service level agreement)
• Collaborate with other IT teams and business units for successful integration of IT solutions

Your Qualifications

• Four year degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience
• Experience in IT projects, software development, system integration, or IT operations
• 4+ years of experience in an SAP project and/or support environment o
  • S/4 – mandatory
  • R3 – mandatory
• Strong Technical Capability in respective SAP competency
  • Debug ability – must have
  • ABAP Development – Preferred
  • UI5 Development – Preferred
• Possesses Functional Knowledge in manufacturing processes (automotive & industrial experience preferred) and system knowledge in areas related to SAP IM, WM, EWM and other logistic processes
• Possesses experience in inbound, internal, outbound logistics operations of warehouses including handling unit and container management processes
• Ability to configure and customize SAP systems including ECC LE/WM, EWM and embedded EWM
• Analytical and technical mindset with a solution-oriented approach
• Masters productivity suites, such as Microsoft Office, MS Teams, and JIRA
• Fluent English skills (written and spoken) and a proactive, team oriented mindset
• Ability to work independently and cooperate effectively in teams
• Commitment to continuous professional growth and proactive knowledge transfer across global locations.
