Vertiv Group busca un/a Logistics Analyst para apoyar importaciones y optimizar la cadena de suministro en Monterrey, México. El rol implica colaborar con operaciones, ventas y compras para mejorar la eficiencia, gestionar métricas de desempeño y asegurar cumplimiento de procesos.

Se requiere grado en logística/cadena de suministro, 3–5 años de experiencia y disposición para viajar. Se valoran certificaciones ISM/APICS y habilidades en MS Office y servicio al cliente.

Formación

• 3–5 años de experiencia en logística o cadena de suministro.
• Conocimiento de logística internacional y manejo de proveedores.
• Capacidad de trabajar en equipo y bajo presión.

Responsabilidades

• Gestionar importaciones y apoyar optimización de la cadena de suministro.
• Colaborar con Operaciones, Ventas y Compras para onboarding de proveedores y cumplimiento de guías de enrutamiento.
• Comunicar KPIs para medir desempeño logístico y cumplimiento de procesos.
• Brindar entrenamiento y soporte a equipos internos en procesos de transporte y TMS.

Description

The Logistics Specialist will support our imports and provide overall support by identifying and implementing procedures to better optimize the overall efficiency of supply chain and logistics activities. Perform tasks that relate to the strategic and tactical management of carrier performance to include request for quotes, on-time delivery, on-time pick-up, Provide support to internal customers including but not limited to Operations, Sales, Procurement, and end customers. Communicate Key Performance Indicators to measure overall logistics performance and process compliance.

Responsibilities

• Engage in programs to including but not limited to on-boarding carriers, monitoring compliance, providing tracking, and expediting assistance, training, and carrier engagement as it relates to all modes of transportation. Support Inbound and Outbound Routing Guides covering both domestic and international shipping activity and provide training on shipping processes as it relates to the Transportation Management System, freight quoting and pricing.
• Work cross-functionally with procurement and purchasing team to on-board suppliers according company routing guide, provide training, monitoring compliance, tracking, expedite assistance for all modes of transportation.
• Closely communicate with plant operations, Buyers, Suppliers, and Carriers to provide instruction, manage expedite requests, and problem solving.
• Drive operational excellence, identify and execute process improvement projects to reduce costs, improvement quality, service and increasing speed.
• Collaborate with global logistics teams in other regions, research and implement best practices across the logistics network and programs
• May assist with customer order quotations for freights estimates
• Provide back-up support in the Logistics Department as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or other appropriate discipline
• 3-5 years of experience
• Experience in logistics, supply chain management or related discipline
• Experience in a strategic setting in a large manufacturing organization
• Ability to travel, as requested

• Experience and knowledge in international trade and transportation preferred

Education And Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or other appropriate discipline
• Institute for Supply Management (ISM), American Production & Inventory Control Society (APICS) or Supply Chain certification preferred.
