Vertiv Group busca un Planner para asegurar la disponibilidad de materiales y apoyar la planificación de producción. El candidato debe priorizar tareas, comunicarse efectivamente y resolver problemas dentro de presupuestos establecidos.

Se valorará experiencia con ERP Oracle y análisis de datos. Trabajo en planta en Santa Catarina, México, con enfoque en mejora continua y cumplimiento de plazos.

Formación

• Título universitario en negocios, cadena de suministro, ingeniería o campo relacionado.
• Al menos 2–4 años de experiencia en planificación o gestión de proyectos.
• Competente en sistemas ERP (preferiblemente Oracle), negociación y comunicación, análisis de datos.
• Habilidades analíticas para resolver problemas y tomar decisiones rápidas.
• Excelentes habilidades de comunicación e interpersonal.
• Capacidad para trabajar en un entorno dinámico y priorizar tareas.
• Atención al detalle y buena organización.
• Conocimiento de metodologías de gestión de proyectos.

Responsabilidades

• Desarrollar y mantener planes, cronogramas y presupuestos de proyectos.
• Coordinar con equipos para garantizar la finalización de tareas y recursos.
• Monitorear progreso, gestionar riesgos e implementar planes de contingencia.
• Mantener documentación y canales de comunicación actualizados.
• Realizar revisiones post-proyecto para identificar mejoras.
• Planificar requerimientos de materiales basados en calendarios de producción.
• Monitorear niveles de inventario y resolver problemas relacionados.
• Coordinar con proveedores para entregas puntuales.
• Analizar salidas de MRP y ajustar parámetros de planificación.

POSITION SUMMARY

• The Material Planner ensures the timely procurement and availability of materials required for production. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can effectively prioritize tasks, communicate with team members, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. The planner should have strong analytical skills and the ability to solve problems and adapt to changes in plans.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets using project management tools.
• Coordinate with teams to ensure timely task completion and resource alignment.
• Monitor project progress, manage risks, and implement contingency plans.
• Maintain up-to-date project documentation and communication channels.
• Conduct post-project reviews to identify improvements.
• Plan material requirements based on production schedules.
• Monitor inventory levels and resolve material-related issues.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries.
• Analyze MRP outputs and adjust planning parameters as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, Engineering, management, or related field
• At least 2-4 years of experience in project planning or management
• Proficient in ERP systems (Oracle preferred), strong negotiation and communication skills, data analysis.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve problems and make decisions quickly
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices

PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS

• The role is primarily based in a manufacturing facility, requiring regular site visits and interaction with production teams.
• Required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhere to safety protocols.
• The role involves extended periods of sitting in front of a computer.
• Occasional standing or walking may be required during meetings, presentations, or site visits.
• Work is primarily conducted in an office environment with controlled temperature and lighting.
