Flex in Guadalajara, Mexico is seeking a Logistics Analyst to support our teams that build great products and drive supply chain efficiency.

You will analyze logistics data, propose process improvements, work with carriers, and help maintain SOPs and reporting while collaborating across teams during night shifts.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in International Trade.
• Knowledge of logistics.
• Shipment management experience.
• Client communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Proficiency in English (intermediate-advanced).
• Willingness to work the night shift.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Highly organized.

Responsabilidades

• Recommend improvements to logistics processes.
• Research logistics data using data mining, data modeling, or cost/benefit studies.
• Apply investigation tools to understand, predict, or control logistics operations.
• Interpret data on logistics elements like supply chain management, distribution, or transportation.
• Prepare reports on logistics performance measures.
• Write or revise standard operating procedures for logistics processes.
• Consult with logistics management to optimize service levels and minimize costs.
• Maintain databases of logistics data per corporate policy.
• Compute reporting metrics such as on-time delivery and order fulfillment.
• Manage pricing structures reflecting logistics costing.
• Coordinate with carriers and service providers.
• Develop freight rate databases for SCM use.
• Reorganize shipping schedules to consolidate loads and maximize vehicle usage.
• Develop or maintain vendor payment systems.

Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Logistics Analyst located in Guadalajara, North Site.

What a typical day looks like:

• Recommend improvements to existing or planned logistics processes.
• Research for logistics data, using methods such as data mining, data modeling, or cost or benefit research.
• Apply investigation methods or tools to comprehend, predict, or control logistics operations or processes.
• Interpret data on logistics elements, such as availability, maintainability, reliability, supply chain management, strategic sourcing or distribution, supplier management, or transportation.
• Prepare reports on logistics performance measures.
• Write or revise standard operating procedures for logistics processes.
• Confer with logistics management teams to define ways to optimize service levels, maintain supply‑chain efficiency, or minimize cost.
• Maintain databases of logistics data and information in accordance with corporate policies.
• Compute reporting metrics, such as on‑time delivery rates and order fulfillment rates.
• Manage systems to ensure that pricing structures adequately reflect logistics costing.
• Contact carriers for rates or schedules.
• Communicate with or monitor service providers, such as ocean carriers, air freight forwarders, global consolidators, customs brokers, or trucking companies.
• Compare locations or environmental policies of carriers or suppliers to make transportation resolutions with lower environmental impact.
• Develop or maintain freight rate databases for use by supply chain departments to define the most economical modes of transportation.
• Reorganize shipping schedules to consolidate loads, maximize vehicle usage, or limit the movement of empty vehicles or containers.
• Develop or maintain payment systems to ensure accuracy of vendor payments.
• Route or reroute drivers in real time with remote route navigation software, satellite linkup systems, or global positioning systems (GPS) to improve operational efficiencies.
• Enter carbon‑output or environmental‑impact data into spreadsheets or environmental management or auditing software programs.
