Flex is seeking an Inventory Control Supervisor in Guadalajara, North Campus, to lead inventory control activities and supervise a team. The role focuses on accuracy of inbound/outbound inventory, cycle counts, and coordination with purchasing and production to meet cost, quality, and delivery targets.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree in a related field, with experience in inventory management, personnel supervision, and intermediate Excel skills.

• Knowledge of inventory control and inventory management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (intermediate level).
• Experience in personnel management and team supervision.
• Basic English proficiency.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to monitor and control operational activities.

Responsabilidades

• Reviews and confirms inbound inventory accuracy and outbound shipments; maintains inventory records.
• Coordinates physical inventories, investigates variances, and adjusts records as needed.
• Coordinates material delivery/pick up from the supply room, if applicable.
• Oversees product recalls under instruction.
• Monitors customer return shipments for overages, shortages and damages; reports concealed damages.
• Manages damaged/defective products through dumping, reconditioning, or return to plant.
• Supervises inventory control personnel and communicates improvement ideas to supervisor.
• Backs up purchasing agent when required and keys receipts of materials when needed.
• Performs related duties and communicates effectively with associates and customers.
• Adjusts priorities as required to meet objectives.

Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add an Inventory Control Supervisor, located in Guadalajara, North Campus.

Reporting to the Inventory Control Supervisor, the role involves responsibilities for activities of personnel engaged in the troubleshooting, repairing and maintenance of manufacturing equipment in order to attain goals consistent with cost, quality, and delivery requirements.

What a typical day looks like:

• Reviews and monitors the timely confirmation and accuracy of inbound inventory, outbound shipments, and book adjustment transactions to ensure accurate inventory management records.
• Coordinates and performs the taking of physical inventories in accordance with the manufacturers' requirements, investigates inventory variances; directs the performance of daily/weekly cycle accounts and adjusts inventory records if necessary.
• Coordinates delivery/pick up of materials from supply room, if exists.
• Coordinates the activities associated with product recalls upon request.
• Monitors the activities associated with customer return shipments including overages, shortages and damages; communicates concealed damages to manufacturer.
• Coordinates damaged and defective products, ensuring it is accounted for and properly handled by dumping, reconditioning, or returning to producing plant.
• Supervises all inventory control personnel, if any, to achieve objectives relating to inventory control management, provides communication and suggests inventory improvements to supervisor.
• Provides back up to purchasing agent, if necessary.
• Keys receipts of materials, if necessary.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
• Effectively communicate with associates and customers in person and via telephone, verbally and non-verbally to accomplish necessary objectives.
• Effectively review performance of subordinates, if any, to ensure compliance to requirements.
• Must be able to shift priorities easily.
