Valeo, a global automotive supplier, invites motivated students and recent graduates to join its Logistics Trainee program in Querétaro, Mexico. You will gain hands-on experience across inventory control, inbound/outbound logistics, and KPI monitoring while learning company systems and processes.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work in a team.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).

Responsabilidades

• Assist with inventory management, including tracking stock levels and cycle counts.
• Support inbound and outbound logistics activities and coordinate shipments.
• Learn and apply internal logistics software for data entry, analysis and reporting.
• Participate in optimizing warehouse layout and material flow.
• Monitor KPIs related to logistics operations.
• Collaborate with production and purchasing to ensure material supply.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Prepare and present reports on logistics performance and project status.
• Adhere to safety and quality standards and procedures.

Job Summary:

The Logistic Trainee will gain hands-on experience in various aspects of supply chain and logistics operations within a global automotive lighting manufacturer. This role provides an opportunity to learn fundamental logistics processes, contribute to operational efficiency, and develop professional skills in a dynamic environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist with inventory management, including tracking stock levels, conducting cycle counts, and investigating discrepancies.
• Support inbound and outbound logistics activities, such as coordinating shipments, preparing documentation, and liaising with freight forwarders.
• Learn and apply internal logistics software and systems for data entry, analysis, and reporting.
• Participate in the optimization of warehouse layout and material flow processes.
• Help monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to logistics operations.
• Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., production, purchasing) to ensure smooth material supply.
• Assist in identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives within the logistics department.
• Prepare and present reports on logistics performance and project status.
• Adhere to all company safety and quality standards and procedures.

Job Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and take initiative.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving work environment.
• Basic understanding of supply chain principles is a plus.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required.
