FedEx Group busca un Supervisor de Ramp para dirigir las operaciones de carga y descarga de aeronaves, asegurando procedimientos seguros y eficientes en las instalaciones de rampa. Se supervisa a un equipo y se garantiza cumplimiento de políticas y normas locales.

El candidato ideal tiene al menos 5 años de experiencia en operaciones de rampa, habilidades de liderazgo, planificación y excelente comunicación en inglés.

Formación

• Two (2) years of college/Equivalent.
• Five (5) years of experience in Ramp operations.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise loading and off-loading of aircraft to ensure safe and efficient ramp operations.
• Train, motivate and evaluate staff in ramp handling, weight and balance, and documentation.
• Plan, organize and schedule manpower to optimize time within budgets.
• Ensure ramp operations are performed safely and effectively.
• Oversee aircraft maintenance and security for arrival/departure.
• Supervise marshalling and proper ground equipment operations.
• Maintain professional relations with local airport officials and communicate changes to management.
• Supervise flight delays, overflows, cancellations and re-routes; coordinate with Flight Operations.
• Supervise employees per Corporate policies; conduct performance evaluations and discipline as needed.

"Supervise the loading and off-loading of aircraft's in the most efficient and effective way possible; to ensure that safe and efficient operations exist at FedEx ramp facilities and supervise customs clearance procedures."

Involves management responsibility for a team of people or a specific location(s) within the business. Teams may include contractors and all categories of employees: Operational, Clerical, Mechanical/Electrical, Supervisory, Secretarial, Professional, and Advisory. Management responsibilities include disciplinary action up to and including dismissal.

1. 1. Select, train, motivate, and evaluate a subordinate staff in handling ramp operations such as loading/off-loading, weight, and balance of the aircraft and in complying with related company and local policies, procedures, rules, norms, and practices (labeling, proper loading/off-loading, all documentation completed, and well-organized, weight and balance, marshaling, etc.)
2. 2. Control and effectively utilize manpower through planning, organizing, and scheduling to minimize loss of time while working within the framework of the capital and operating budgets.
3. 3. Ensure Ramp Operations are performed safely, efficiently, and effectively.
4. 4. Ensure aircraft maintenance and security are provided for arrival/departure.
5. 5. Supervise marshaling for arriving/departing flights and proper operations of ground equipment.
6. 6. Ensure proper weight and balance along with loading and offloading procedures are adhered to Ramp Agents.
7. 7. Establish and maintain a cordial professional relationship with local airport officials and keep them abreast of changes in local legislation that may affect the business. Changes need to be communicated to local management and affected employees and Sr. Management.
8. 8. Supervise any flight delays, overflows, cancellations, and re-routes.Communicate with Flight Operations on aircraft and related ramp activities.
9. 9. Supervise employees (performance evaluation, pay increases, discipline, counseling, etc.) within Corporate Personnel Policies and Procedures.
10. Main responsibilities are those most important or most frequently performed duties. The incumbent will perform other duties as required.

Education:

Two (2) years of college/Equivalent.

Experience:

Five (5) years of experience in Ramp operations.
