FedEx is seeking a maintenance professional in Mexico to evaluate and improve commercial maintenance services for fleet operations. You will inspect vehicles and coordinate disposition, manage body shop timelines, and oversee preventive maintenance with vendors to ensure timely, fair-priced repairs.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent and at least 3 years in preventive maintenance with automotive equipment.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree/Equivalent required.
• Proficiency in English.
• At least 3 years of preventive maintenance operations experience on automotive equipment.
• Knowledge in troubleshooting/diagnosing gasoline and diesel automotive equipment.

Responsabilidades

• Selects and evaluates the effectiveness of commercial maintenance services for maintenance, road service and shops and implements improvements or changes.
• Inspects and accepts new vehicles/equipment and arranges for disposition of vehicles.
• Inspects on a regular basis the fleet’s mechanical, paint and body condition to ensure compliance.
• Trains commercial maintenance service vendors on FedEx preventive maintenance system and ensures that repairs are completed properly on a timely basis, at a fair price.
• Ensures that vehicles are in the body shops within the specified time limit and makes estimates on repairs.
• Maintains accurate records in accordance with corporate and regulatory requirement and monitors warranty stipulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Involves the application of specialist knowledge which may include providing specialist advice to employees, management or customers, managing or maintaining systems or processes or completing projects to develop or changing systems or processes as appropriate. To provide administrative and analytical support for the performance of all outside service agreements as they relate to maintenance and/or airport operating agreements, construction and property management.
