FedEx Express México is seeking a Vehicle/Ground Support Equipment Maintenance Specialist Associate for the Aguascalientes location. This full-time role focuses on applying maintenance expertise to support ground operations and fleet readiness.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with at least 3 years in preventive maintenance of automotive equipment and strong English skills. You will evaluate service providers, ensure timely repairs, and maintain accurate maintenance

Responsabilidades

• Selects and evaluates maintenance services for vehicles and equipment and implements improvements.
• Inspects and accepts new vehicles/equipment and arranges disposition.
• Inspects fleet condition to ensure compliance with standards.
• Trains vendors on FedEx preventive maintenance systems and ensures timely repairs.
• Ensures vehicles are in body shops on time and estimates repairs.
• Maintains accurate records and monitors warranty stipulations.

Involves the application of specialist knowledge which may include providing specialist advice to employees, management or customers, managing or maintaining systems or processes or completing projects to develop or changing systems or processes as appropriate. To provide administrative and analytical support for the performance of all outside service agreements as they relate to maintenance and/or airport operating agreements, construction and property management.

General Job Description

• Selects and evaluates the effectiveness of commercial maintenance services for maintenance, road service and shops and implements improvements or changes.
• Inspects and accepts new vehicles/equipment and arranges for disposition of vehicles.
• Inspects on a regular basis the fleet’s mechanical, paint and body condition to ensure compliance.
• Trains commercial maintenance service vendors on FedEx preventive maintenance system and ensures that repairs are completed properly on a timely basis, at a fair price.
• Ensures that vehicles are in the body shops within the specified time limit and makes estimates on repairs.
• Maintains accurate records in accordance with corporate and regulatory requirement and monitors warranty stipulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education

• Bachelor's degree/Equivalent
• Proficiency in English

Minimum Experience

• Three (3) years' work experience in preventive maintenance operations on automotive-related equipment.
• Knowledge in troubleshooting /diagnosing of gasoline and diesel automotive equipment.
