FedEx Express México is seeking a Vehicle/Ground Support Equipment Maintenance Technician in Toluca. The role covers day-to-day maintenance and operations of FedEx fleet and ground support equipment, ensuring safety and reliability.

You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot and repair, and complete required documentation. The successful candidate has a strong mechanical background, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work with a team in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Education: High School degree or equivalent.
• 4+ years in fleet or heavy equipment maintenance.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift heavy components and work with mechanical tools.
• Knowledge of diagnostic and repair procedures.
• Attention to detail and strong planning skills.
• Teamwork and safety compliance.

Responsabilités

• Perform preventive maintenance on FedEx vehicles and GSE.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and modify equipment as required.
• Complete paperwork such as VURR, VAGIS, and FAMIS.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area per OSHA standards.
• Coordinate with vendors and FedEx staff on repairs.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.

Involves the day-to-day maintenance and effective operation of company vehicles. Provides timely, quality maintenance for FedEx vehicle fleet and Ground Support Equipment which requires preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, modifications and documentations. General job description: Under general guidance performs the following activities:

• Performs preventive maintenance; troubleshooting, repairs and modifications to FedEx vehicles and GSE.
• The completion of required paperwork for each assignment including VURR, VAGIS and FAMIS documentation.
• Compiles and maintains all documents necessary to comply with Local, regulatory agencies where applicable.
• Maintains a clean, safe work area in accordance with corporate/OSHA standards.
• Interfaces with customer (FedEx employees) and vendors regarding vehicle and equipment repairs.
• Assumes responsibility for completion of project work.
• May be required to perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum Education: High School Degree/Equivalent.
• Minimum Experience: Four (4) years recent fleet, automotive, heavy equipment, or truck vehicle maintenance experience and applicable licenses/vocational training.
• Minimum Experience: Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Minimum Required Skills: Knowledge of the use and operation of all automotive equipment and testing equipment, gauges, and tools normally associated with the troubleshooting and repair of industrial hydraulic, gasoline electrical and diesel automotive equipment.
• Minimum Required Skills: Must be able to lift and maneuver heavy vehicle industrial components.
