Vertiv Group Corporation is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer (P3) to drive operational excellence in our Guanajuato facility. You will design, implement, and continuously improve manufacturing processes that enhance efficiency, quality, and productivity.

The role requires leadership, project ownership, and mentoring junior engineers across cross-functional teams. You will lead process improvement initiatives, apply lean and Six Sigma methodologies, and collaborate with R&D to influence product

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• 4–8 years of experience in manufacturing engineering.
• Proven experience in process improvement, project management, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, ETC.

Responsabilidades

• Lead efforts to analyze and improve manufacturing processes focusing on cost, cycle time, quality, and throughput.
• Develop and implement lean manufacturing initiatives and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Evaluate and integrate new technologies and automation to enhance production capabilities.
• Serve as the manufacturing lead for NPI projects from design to production.
• Collaborate with R&D and design engineering to influence manufacturability and scalability.
• Develop and validate manufacturing processes for new products, including tooling and work instructions.
• Manage complex manufacturing projects including transfers, equipment upgrades, and layout changes.
• Define project scope, timelines, budgets, and resource requirements; ensure timely execution.
• Oversee creation and maintenance of process documentation, SOPs, and specs.
• Ensure compliance with internal quality standards, ISO requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
• Support audits and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers and technicians; provide training on new processes and safety protocols.
• Act as technical resource for troubleshooting and problem-solving across production teams.
• Lead structured problem-solving using 8D, Fishbone, and FMEA; implement corrective actions.
