Job summary

Pyramid Consulting, Inc. is seeking a skilled Linux Administrator (Cloud/On-Prem) with 4–6 years of hands-on experience to manage and optimize enterprise Linux platforms.

You will install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot across RHEL/CentOS/Rocky/Ubuntu, perform upgrades and patching, and monitor system health. The role emphasizes security hardening, automation, and supporting mission-critical applications.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of Linux administration experience.
• Hands-on experience installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting Linux servers (RHEL, CentOS, Rocky Linux, Ubuntu).
• Experience with OS upgrades, patch management, migrations, vulnerability remediation, kernel updates and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Manage server administration and security hardening on Linux platforms.
• Perform OS upgrades, patch management, migrations, and kernel updates.
• Automate repetitive tasks to improve reliability and efficiency.
• Monitor server health (CPU, memory, storage, network) and troubleshoot issues.
• Support business-critical applications hosted on Linux infrastructure.

• 4 to 6 years of experience in Linux admin on Cloud/On-Prem
• Hands-on experience in Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Linux servers (RHEL, CentOS, Rocky Linux, Ubuntu).
• Extensive Hands-on experience in Perform OS upgrades, patch management, migration, vulnerability remediation, kernel updates and troubleshooting
• Good in monitor server health, CPU, memory, storage, and network utilization
• Exposed/worked into high availability and optimal performance of Linux systems

Preferred Skills

Seeking a highly motivated Linux Administrator (Cloud/On-prem) with 4–6 years of hands-on experience in managing, maintaining, and supporting Linux-based infrastructure in enterprise environments. The candidate will be responsible for server administration, performance tuning, security hardening, automation, troubleshooting, and supporting business-critical applications hosted on Linux platforms.
