Job summary

Zifo is seeking a pragmatic Informatics Project Manager to support technology and informatics initiatives for pharmaceutical and biotech customers. The role focuses on bringing structure, ownership, and clear communication to complex projects with stakeholders across vendors, customers, and global delivery teams.

Ideal candidates have SDLC knowledge, experience with Agile/hybrid/waterfall delivery, and strong English/Spanish communication skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in IT, life sciences, engineering or related field.
5+ years in project management or delivery coordination in tech or informatics.
Experience with global, client-facing delivery teams.
Good knowledge of SDLC and multiple delivery methods (Agile, Hybrid, Waterfall).
Strong English communication and professional writing.
Spanish communication strongly preferred; Portuguese a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead day-to-day project planning, execution, tracking, and coordination across teams.
Create and maintain practical project plans, RAID logs, and status reports.
Manage scope, risks, issues, dependencies, timelines, and resources.
Facilitate regular project meetings and track actions and blockers.
Coordinate with analysts and technical teams on requirements and testing.
Align deliverables with vendor and customer expectations.
Prepare concise updates for leadership and stakeholders.
Support Agile, hybrid, or waterfall delivery approaches as needed.
Build trusted relationships with globally distributed teams and drive improvements.
