Zifo seeks an experienced Computational Biologist or Bioinformatician to lead customer-facing engagements end-to-end. Shape scientific strategies, translate needs into workstreams, and collaborate with Bioinformatics, Data Science, and Engineering teams to deliver scalable bioinformatics solutions.

The successful candidate serves as a trusted scientific advisor to clients, bringing deep expertise in computational biology and multi-omics, with strong consulting and project leadership skills.

Formación

• PhD in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, Statistical Genetics or related fields.
• 5-7 years of relevant industry experience leading computational biology/bioinformatics projects in CRO, life sciences consulting, or bioinformatics services organizations.
• Demonstrated experience leading customer-facing scientific projects and managing stakeholder relationships.
• Stays current with developments in computational biology, genomics, multi-omics, and AI.

Responsabilidades

• Lead multiple bioinformatics and computational biology engagements from project initiation to successful completion.
• Establish project scope, resource plans, milestones, and governance frameworks.
• Translate client needs into executable workstreams and analyses.
• Deliver timely, high-quality scientific analyses, workflows, and reports aligned with customer expectations.
• Support pre-sales activities including solution development, proposal preparation, capability presentations, and scientific thought leadership.
