Qualifications

• Licensed pharmacist in Mexico with active registration.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive hospital pharmacy experience.
• 5+ years in management or supervisory roles.
• Advanced degrees preferred (MBA/Pharm.D./Pharmacy Administration).
• Strong financial, budgeting, and resource optimization expertise.
• Knowledge of sterile compounding, drug distribution and clinical services.
• Proven leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with automation, information systems, and COFEPRIS standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of hospital pharmacy across inpatient, outpatient and satellite locations.
• Develop and monitor policies, procedures and department goals.
• Manage budgets, forecasting, cost control and resource allocation.
• Lead and mentor pharmacy staff, promoting collaboration and professional growth.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations and COFEPRIS standards.
• Optimize medication-use processes, procurement, inventory and administration.
• Evaluate and implement pharmacy technology including automation and EHR integration.
• Collaborate with hospital leadership to integrate pharmacy services across departments.
• Drive quality improvement and performance monitoring within the department.
