Job summary

Citi is seeking an entry-level Credit Initiation Team Lead to support assessing credit risk and determine appropriate terms for loans and obligations. You will supervise a team of credit initiation specialists, delegate tasks, and drive accurate processing while ensuring confidentiality and data integrity across systems.

You will train staff, handle exceptions, and uphold compliance with laws and internal policies.

Qualifications

• Experience interpreting credit bureau reports is indispensable.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Ability to interpret procedures and guide staff in complex scenarios.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of credit initiation specialists, assigning and supervising tasks.
• Train and coach team members and manage exceptions using credit knowledge and signing authority.
• Maintain integrity and confidentiality of customer documentation in systems.
• Guide staff to resolve complex problems by interpreting procedures and policies.
• Ensure high quality of tasks and services delivered by the team.
