Gulfstream Aerospace Mexicali is seeking a Líder de Control de Producción ML4 to manage production control activities and lead the team of production planners and expeditors to deliver on-time products to customers.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 4 years of experience, with proficiency in MRP/ERP systems, SAP/Solumina, and advanced English. Responsibilities include coordinating staff, optimizing plans, and driving continuous improvements.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree and 4 years of experience required.
• Proficiency with MRP/ERP systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Advanced English level and strong communication/negotiation skills; APICS and Lean/Six Sigma a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Encourages teamwork with Materials Planning and Engineering to assure successful product launches.
• Is a critical part of the SBUs CFT.
• Coordinate staff activities.
• Follow up plans and programs established; verify priorities and make changes as needed.
• Review, develop, analyze reports, forecasts and metric information to take action.
• Attend and solve special situations related to planning and production scheduling, incorporating engineering changes and preventing shortages.
• Work on continuous improvements with the team.
• Attend meetings with internal and external customers.
• Active participation in the department's strategic plan.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Purpose:

Manage all the production control activities and the team of production planners, expeditors, to deliver the required. products to the different customers on time.

Job Description

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential Functions:

1. Encourages teamwork with the Materials Planning and Engineering teams to assure successful product launches .
2. Is a critical part of the SBUs CFT .
3. Coordinate staff activities .
4. Follow up plans and programs established; verifying priorities and make changes if need it .
5. Reviews, develops, analyzes reports, forecasts and metric information to take appropriate action .
6. Attend and solve special situations related to planning and production scheduling, and incorporating engineering changes, preventing materials shortages, obsolete inventory, etc .
7. Work on a continuous improvements in the areas with his team .
8. Attending meetings with internal and external customers .
9. Active participation in the department's strategic plan.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Other Requirements:

1. MRP and ERP systems management, Microsoft Office Excel, Power Point, Word.
2. Experience in the position programmer or production planner.
3. CAS, Solumina, SAP, Windows Office (Excel Macros and Visual Basic is a plus).
4. Demand balance in CNC Machines experience.
5. Proven communication, teamwork and negotiation skills.
6. Project management (Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing) a plus.
7. APICS (Management and inventory control, Supply chain, etc).
8. Advanced English level.
