About the Role

Our client, a forward-thinking technology company, is seeking an experienced and strategic Líder de Adquisiciones Estratégicas de TI to manage all aspects of technology procurement and vendor management. This critical role operates on a remote-first basis, allowing for a dynamic and flexible work environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive IT procurement strategies, negotiating complex contracts with hardware, software, and service providers, and ensuring optimal value and TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) for technology investments. You will play a key role in aligning IT procurement with the company's technological roadmap and business objectives, fostering innovation, and managing supplier relationships effectively. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement global IT procurement strategies, policies, and procedures.
• Lead the sourcing and negotiation of contracts for hardware, software licenses, cloud services, and IT consulting.
• Manage IT vendor relationships, performance, and contract renewals to ensure value and service levels.
• Analyze market trends and identify opportunities for cost savings and technological advancements.
• Collaborate closely with IT leadership, finance, and legal teams to align procurement with business needs and compliance requirements.
• Oversee the entire procurement lifecycle, from needs assessment and RFP creation to contract finalization and order fulfillment.
• Manage IT asset procurement and lifecycle management, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
• Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for IT procurement and vendor performance.
• Provide expert advice on technology acquisition best practices and risk mitigation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in IT procurement, strategic sourcing, or vendor management, with a strong focus on technology.
• Proven track record of successfully negotiating complex IT contracts and achieving significant cost savings.
• Deep understanding of the IT landscape, including hardware, software, cloud services, and IT security.
• Excellent strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with IT procurement frameworks and best practices.
• Ability to thrive in a remote, collaborative, and fast-paced environment.
• Fluency in Spanish and English is required.
