Johnson Controls in Monterrey, Mexico, is seeking an Industrial/Mechatronic/Mechanical Engineer with 4+ years of experience in assembly and paint processes to join our manufacturing organization.

The role focuses on Lean Manufacturing, line balancing, capacity calculations, and layout planning, with strong emphasis on project management and change management to improve production performance.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree required (Industrial, Mechatronic or Mechanical).
• 4+ years of experience in assembly and paint processes.
• Proficient in spoken and written English.
• Strong knowledge of continuous improvement elements, line balancing, capacity calculations, planning and layout.
• Experience in project management.

Responsibilities

• Implements, promotes, and maintains a safe work environment with a culture of accident prevention and rule adherence.
• Manufacturing cell design and layout evaluation.
• Calculate and control optimal production line capacities and fabrication processes.
• Verify time standards and calculate earned hours per family of products.
• Facilitate A3 problem solving and design future state value streams.
• Create technical documentation (standard work sheets, OMS, ODS, FMEA, DFAM).
• Drive advancement of the organization within JCMS and share best practices from benchmarking.
• Lead layout modifications of production lines and cells.
